HSBC Welcome Mat

At RnR we put our best effort in to satisfy our customers but also tackle any project, large or small. Enter HSBC and their welcome mat. The welcome mat, which is the size of two football fields (85,000-sq-ft) was commissioned by HSBC Bank to celebrate and “welcome home” some of the millions of vacationing Canadians, 300,000 newcomers arriving every year and almost 20 million international visitors.

RnR was tasked with recreating the HSBC diamond logo and all of the ‘welcome’ letters out of environmentally friendly material. With each letter being about 30ft in size, we tackled this project by breaking up each letter into upwards of 18 different sections that pieced together to create one letter. This project helped demonstrate the true capabilities of our staff through teamwork and problem solving. Custom work like this is why we do what we do. We love and invite the challenges but the end result and satisfied customers is our drive.
